About Diane
Life transitions can be overwhelming—whether you're navigating menopause, facing a career shift, managing anxiety or depression, or simply feeling stuck. If you're looking for support, insight, and a space to breathe, you’re in the right place.
Diane has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The College of St. Scholastica and a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) from the University of Minnesota. She is also a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, which means she brings both a mental health and whole-person wellness perspective to the therapy space.
Before becoming a therapist, Diane spent nearly 40 years in higher education, many of those years in executive positions. That experience taught her a lot about stress, change, resilience, and how meaningful it can be to have someone walk beside you when life gets complicated.
Today, Diane specializes in working with women in midlife and beyond who are navigating life transitions, menopause, anxiety, depression, and other emotional stressors. She believes that people are inherently strong and capable, and sometimes just need a compassionate, trusted partner to help reconnect with those strengths.
Diane’s approach is collaborative, practical, and supportive. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help shift unhelpful thought patterns, and she is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)—a powerful, brief intervention for trauma and emotional pain.
Whether you're seeking clarity, calm, or a new way forward, Diane offers a warm, grounded space where healing and growth can begin.
