Welcome.

We make sure all our new clients feel welcome, safe, and supported. During your first visit, a therapist will complete a biopsychosocial assessment to obtain information about your present concerns, strengths, history and more. Through this process you will begin to develop a therapeutic relationship with your therapist. Research shows that the relationship with your therapist is the number one predictor of therapeutic success.

Through the collaboration with your therapist you will develop goals and the steps to achieve your goals. This process leads to new insights, personal and interpersonal growth, as well as overall health and well-being.

Prior to your first session you will complete a confidential intake form that provides your therapist with background information about you so that we can make the most efficient use of our time together from the very beginning. As part of the intake, we also collect demographic and insurance information as well as a credit card that will only be automatically charged if you fail to cancel prior to an appointment and are subject to the $50 no-show fee (exceptions being MCHP and PMAP insurance members).

Accepted insurance:  Insight Counseling accepts most insurance plans. When you make your first appointment, our front desk team will work with your insurance provider and will explain your insurance benefits. If your insurance does not cover your visit, we provide out-of-network and sliding-fee options as well. We make every effort to provide affordable care.
