Insight Counseling is seeking part-time and full-time mental health therapists for its Duluth and Cloquet offices. We are excited to meet candidates qualified and interested in working with an integrative team focused on client-centered care.


  • Master's degree in social work, counseling or other related mental health field.

  • Licensed mental health professional credentials in the State of Minnesota (i.e., LICSW, LP, LMFT, LPCC) or pursuing full licensure (i.e., LGSW, LAMFT or LPC).

  • Strong clinical skills and experience working with diverse populations.

  • Experience with family therapy, couples counseling, and/or working with children and teens preferred.


  • Provide individual, family and/or couples psychotherapy.

  • Maintain clinical records in compliance with policies and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary setting with other clinicians to provide comprehensive treatment to the client and his or her family.

  • Monitor and evaluate individualized treatment plans.

  • Develop, implement, and coordinate services with an emphasis on integrative and holistic care.

  • Collaborate with staff, community professionals, and community agencies in coordinating care services and maintaining continuity of care.

  • Participate in case consultation.

  • Participate in quality assessment/peer review of documentation, process and client support, as requested.

  • Exhibit a sincere desire to work with and promote the delivery of culturally competent and inclusive services.

  • Maintain confidentiality of client medical, financial, or personal information, records, and data.

  • Prepare and submit accurate, timely billing and documentation records pursuant to program requirements.

  • Provide clinical supervision as needed and appropriate based on licensure.

  • Advanced interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships with clients, colleagues, contractors and vendors.

  • Ability to maintain calm under pressure and work with individuals and families in crisis.

  • Regular and timely attendance in the pursuit of job responsibilities.
